OMG MARCHING BAND Y U BE SO PAINFUL

First time marching today. It was hot as hell outside and everyone else has a nice little harness with beautiful padding. I have duct tape instead of padding and the straps move around SO much even after we tightened the screws. So I was playing today with one shoulder holding my drum up practically. And I guess I had a pained look on my face so one of the Eight-graders goes "Oh it must be so HEAVY for you. You know because you have the LIGHTEST drum."
I wanted to curl up and cry, personally but the other eight-grader stood up for me. She was like "Trace, stop. Seriously. Just stop, don't give her a hard time." (Yes the dude's name was Trace. He's kind of a jerk.)
I really like her c: She's nice.
And I messed up Candence (thingy we do to start off the marching band) SO BAD. AND I KNOW IT SO WELL. And my harness is also like...WAY too big. My drum moves around everytime I take a step. Plus the harness squeaks. It's scary as shit. Like really ; M ; And I can't march right for the life of me. I told myself 'Left, right, left, right...' in my head but NO. I still fucked it up. I am a horrible marcher. I just wanna curl up and die. But I have like everything memorized. Which is pretty good considering I LEARNED NOTHING I HAD TO LEARN AS I WENT CAUSE I DIDN'T GET THE NOTICE IN THE MAIL CAUSE MY MOM DIDNT REGISTER ME AND MY STUPID AUSTRIA COSPLAYER DIDN'T WARN ME IN ADVANCE SHE JUST TOLD ME THE SECOND OUT OF THREE DAYS "HEY WEVE GOT BAND CAMP TOMORROW AND YOU HAVE TO LEARN ALL THIS OTHERWISE YOU CANT BE AND BAND OR SOME SHIT YADAYADAYADA"
So yeah
I had a doctors appointment the last day.
